Have you ever thought to yourself how are society would be if we learned to accept each other for our religion, number of children, and abilities? We all come from different places. We all have stories that we are to ashamed to tell. Our government and society have set up a wall of expectations and rules we have to follow in order to be considered “normal”. To most of us this wall is used as a shield to keep us from being discriminated and judged. Why is it that we all decide to hide?

Think about all the shame those thirds go through. Being stared down everyday for being alive. Feeling worthless because someone decided to bring them to this world. Would you be able to go through that pain? Feeling like a worthless piece of trash. Those “Thirds” fight everyday in war against our society. Today the best thing a child can be called is a Third. What  about our religion? Is it really that necessary to hide our past for the rest of our lives just because we will be seen as “different”. Is being different really that bad? Some of us have gone to the extremes of renouncing our religion because our society wouldn’t accept us.

I guess in the end we have to learn to accept our selves in order to be accepted by everyone else.
